The Provincial Grand Charity Steward, Michael Hitchcock was delighted to be able to present £3,090 to Ashgate Hospicecare earlier today on behalf of the Masonic Charitable Foundation. Ashgate are one of four Derbyshire Hospices receiving grants, The other recipients were:
Blythe House £1,000,
Thornhill House £2,210 and
Treetops £1,000.
This fabulous initiative by the Masonic Charitable Foundation is part of a £600,000 nationwide grant programme to hospices across England and Wales.
The Foundation is now partnering with Hospice UK, the national charity for hospice care to help target significant change in patient care.
