Pioneer Lodge No. 9065 was founded in 1982 and was initially formed primarily for those with Scouting affinities and has had a strong association with organisations aimed at youth development, such as Boys’ Brigade and St John’s Ambulance Service. We have a annual meeting at Drum Hill and use Taylors Ritual which is rare in Derbyshire.
What we do
We are a friendly group who meet up at the lodge and at outside events. We support youth organisations and where possible provide general assistance as required. Conversation within the lodge and at festive boards and on other occasions is entertaining and always fun; helped by diverse backgrounds and the vast experiences of members. Someone always has a tale to tell!
Why join us?
We are a friendly group who support each other and we have a pronounced interest in supporting local charities as well as ones in the wider community. Our meetings have a blend of formality and the laid-back style one may expect from chaps involved with youth organisations – we have characters in abundance in our Lodge!
