The warrant of the Lodge is dated 26th June 1904, when the Eighth Duke of Devonshire gave permission for the Lodge to bear the name Cavendish and to adopt the Cavendish Arms. Since then the Lodge has grown to be a thriving, happy fraternity of men from all walks of life.
What we do
We strive to provide a safe, inclusive environment for formal ceremonial and relaxed social interaction, have fun, and contribute to the community by supporting good causes.
Why join us?
We meet on the first Friday of the month, from September to May, which suits many working members, and has helped us to attract a good number of younger brethren, making the Lodge a vibrant and happy place to be.
