Dale Abbey In Erewash Lodge

No: 5603

Who are we?

Two former lodges, Dale Abbey and Erewash, amalgamated in 2018 to form the Dale Abbey in Erewash Lodge No. 5603. Both these lodges were founded by employees at the local electricity generating company in Ilkeston, with Dale Abbey using the remains of the Abbey window in its logo and Erewash using the Cat & Fiddle Windmill and River Erewash as their emblem.

What we do

Each new member is assigned a Mentor who will be the member’s first point of contact for any queries or assistance. In addition, new members are encouraged to join the Porchway Club (our Membership Officer is the Area Representative for the Porchway Club), which encourages visiting, social activities and other personal development initiatives. New members will also be encouraged to visit other lodges in the company of their own lodge members.

Why join us?

A warm and friendly atmosphere welcomes all. The lodge has a willingness and desire to support and develop members in the key attributes of freemasonry – brotherly love, relief and truth. Learn and understand the workings and play your part in this lodge’s success.
