High Peak Lodge was granted its warrant to operate on 16th November 1881 and was subsequently consecrated on 13th February 1882. The roots of our Lodge lie in the Derbyshire village of Chapelen-le-Frith. We met originally at the Town Hall in Chapel-en-leFrith until 1984 when we moved briefly to Toddbrook, Whaley Bridge and then to Freemasons Hall, The Old Court House, George Street, Buxton in 1995, where we remain.
What we do
At High Peak Lodge you can expect to practice and expand on Freemasonry’s core values of Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Charity. Charity is at the heart of what we do and all our funds come from within our membership and their families. We support many local charities and worthy causes each year as well as contributing to Provincial and National masonic charitable appeals.
Why join us?
We are an active, warm and friendly lodge that draws its members from all walks of life. We pride ourselves in the high standard of our ritual and encourage all brethren to participate in our ceremonies to enhance their masonic experience.
