The Lodge was consecrated in 1966 as the daughter Lodge of Beaureper No.787 which was the only Craft Lodge meeting at Belper at the time and who’s membership had become so high that the time from initiation to the WM’s chair had become impractically long.
What we do
The Lodge of St John is a lively lodge who meet 8 times a year. Our festive boards are always lively and enjoyable. The Lodge of St John holds a Lodge of Instruction to support new members who wish to take part in ritual and to help them prepare themselves if they wish to climb the ladder.
Why join us?
Outline St John is a lively, vibrant and friendly Lodge which has a good mix of ages and professions amongst its members. Meetings are carried out to high standards but in an expeditious manner, so that members can choose to leave the evening early if they wish or socialize in the excellent bar facilities if they are not such early risers!
