Who are we?
Mentor Lodge was formed in 1951 with the aim of working to perform Masonic ritual, in effect short plays, to the very highest traditional Masonic standards. This is known as emulation working. We take great pride in Mentor being the only Emulation Lodge in Derbyshire. Our Latin motto means always aiming for perfection.
What we do
Although ritual is important to us, inclusion and diversity are key to our success. Our Lodge offers a very warm welcome to all who look forward to becoming Freemasons both to those who wish to progress in achieving the highest standards of ritual and those feeling more comfortable in taking a more supporting role.

Our aim in Mentor Lodge is to enjoy our freemasonry and through its values to try to become better people. The values of freemasonry have stood firm for well over 300 years and are as relevant today as they were so many many years ago. Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth.
